3 oz. macaroni
1 oz. fat
Nearly 1 pint milk
1 teaspoon mustard
¼ lb. cheese
l oz. flour
Seasoning
Cook the macaroni. Make a sauce with the fat, flour and milk. Boil well. A dd mustard and cheese, reserving 1 or 2 tablespoonsful. Season well. Put the macaroni in a greased dish, with alternate layers of sauce, or, mix macaroni and sauce in pan, pour into dish. Cover the top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs. Place small pieces of butter here and there and bake till brown. 4 or 5 people.
